PM Orders Action Against Brokers Involved in Land Concessions

Mondulkiri: Prime Minister Hun Manet of Cambodia has called for immediate action against brokers who are misleading citizens into registering for land concessions. During the inauguration of the O'Te Thipadei Dam and two other dams in Mondulkiri province on October 24, 2024, the Prime Minister urged the public to be cautious and not to trust these brokers.

“Provincial authorities must be vigilant,” he stated, stressing the importance of ensuring that land concession registrations are conducted exclusively through official state mechanisms.

His comments reflect growing concerns about the exploitation of citizens in land concession matters and the need for stricter oversight. The Prime Minister's directive aims to safeguard the rights of citizens and reinforce proper regulatory processes.
